About

Picture
I started this bike ride because I have experienced the challenges of Diabetes.

I am a diabetes coach and I understand the challenges of both type 1 and type 2.
My family has been riddled with obesity and Type 2 diabetes.
I myself was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes 14 years ago(more on that later).
I understand the need for regular exercise to stay healthy, energetic and feeling good.
It's all about motivation, routine and lifestyle choices. Sometimes we have to play little tricks on ourselves to get the goods. And I'm all about the little tricks!
I'm here to help encourage you and to give the proper tools needed for the adaption of a healthy lifestyle. My methods include example, reasoning, and some clever nudging.

If you are interested in diabetes coaching or have any questions concerning your struggle or experiences, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Regular cycling and physical exercise are good for the blood sugars. It's pretty darn simple. Any sort of physical movement/routine/activity is good for metabolizing the glucose in our system and keeping our blood sugars at healthy levels.
